Profondément influencé par la musique dans son processus créatif, Alain van Havre propose une traduction renouvelée de son obsession du mouvement.

Dans sa quête pour ajouter du mouvement à la surface, notre designer Alain van Havre a commencé à superposer et à combiner des formes triangulaires. Avant de s’en rendre compte, il avait créé une composition intéressante en teck. Initialement utilisé pour notre populaire buffet Teak Graphic, le motif se traduit désormais parfaitement dans un nouveau meuble TV.

It all started with a happy incident. Inspired by the remaining offcuts from our factory designs, the layered wood pieces of the Mosaic sideboard form a rhythm, reminiscent of the partition of a pipe organ. Deeply influenced by music within his creative process, Alain van Havre offers a renewed translation of his obsession for movement.

In his quest to add movement to the surface, designer Alain van Havre started layering and combining triangular shapes. Before he knew it he had created a visually enticing composition out of teak and the Graphic design was born. By using multiple layers, a sense of depth and dynamism is created in the intricate arrangement. Motion and warmth are added by further perfecting the natural attributes of wood.
